About

1972 marks the year Title IX was passed, a federal law that opened doors for women in athletics. I grew up playing on an all-boys team until high school. It instilled resilience in me, but I always wished for the chance to compete among the top female players and coaches. That wish became a chip on my shoulder, one that pushed me into hours of training and a belief that I could create my own path. Reaching my goal of playing Division I soccer reshaped my ambition. It taught me that when you fully commit to something, you can get there.

I hope to share that belief with the next generation and help young athletes grow not just in skill, but in confidence, leadership, and self belief. I’m dedicated to making 1972 Training Company a place where athletes feel supported and encouraged.

My training philosophy centers on competition and resiliency—both essential to reaching the highest level. Every session includes competition, whether athletes are going against each other or looking to beat their own previous best. To me, resiliency means more than toughness and grit; it includes the mental strength to learn from setbacks, stay focused through discomfort, and continue growing even when the process gets challenging.
